On the 6th of May, Wetsus will participate in the second edition of the national kids’ science festival Expeditie Next in Franeker. With free access for children, this event is a must-visit for future scientists and their parents! All sorts of scientific activities will pop up throughout this old Frisian city with a long academic history.
Professor Cees Buisman, co-founder of Wetsus, will challenge kids with some doubtful theories about water during the Big Fact or Fable Quiz. And check out our Friesland Waterland activity. Together with the Junior Academie van Franeker & Wetterskip Fryslân, our Water professors will encourage kids to play with fantastic water experiments. All within the theme of desalination – a contemporary climate change issue.
We hope to spark future innovators to deal with the current problem in the region.
